Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

Local Home Intelligence respects the sensitivity of information connected to homes, households, and smart-home systems. This policy explains how the public website and its early-access form collect, use, store, and protect information.

Information you choose to provide

When you submit an early-access or contact inquiry, we may collect your name, email address, organization, general location, current smart-home setup, participation interest, and the message you provide.

Do not submit passwords, API keys, access tokens, private network addresses, camera footage, door or lock codes, detailed household schedules, or other secrets. We do not need those details to evaluate an inquiry.

How inquiry data is handled

Form submissions are stored in a private database with our website hosting provider, and a copy is emailed to our inbox at [email protected] so it can be read and answered. Submissions are not sent to any marketing or newsletter service.

Our hosting and email providers process this information on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms.

How we use information

Technical and anti-abuse information

The service may process standard request information such as browser user agent and source IP address. Raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored with form submissions; the service stores a salted one-way hash used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Cookies and analytics

The rebuilt website does not require advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If privacy-respecting analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to describe the provider, data collected, retention, and available controls.

Sharing and sale

Local Home Intelligence does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate the website, host the service, deliver configured email notifications, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.

Retention

Inquiry data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review participation, maintain relevant business records, respond to requests, and protect the service. Records that are no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized.

Security

The form is protected against spam and misuse, and submissions are kept in private storage that only Local Home Intelligence can access. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask Local Home Intelligence to correct or delete inquiry information, or to stop nonessential communications. Include enough information to identify the original inquiry without sending new sensitive details.

HELIX product data

This website policy does not yet serve as the complete production privacy notice for a generally available HELIX appliance. Product-specific disclosures will be published before broader commercial availability and will describe local processing, optional cloud integrations, AI providers, remote access, diagnostics, and household roles.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the website, pilot program, and product evolve. The effective date above will change when material revisions are published.
