These terms govern use of the Local Home Intelligence public website. They do not constitute final commercial terms for HELIX hardware, software, subscriptions, professional services, or private-alpha participation.
Informational website
The website describes Local Home Intelligence, HELIX, HELIOS, CANVAS, current development status, intended audiences, and product direction. Information is provided for general evaluation and discussion.
Private-alpha status
HELIX is under active development. Features, architecture, supported devices, integrations, interfaces, performance, availability, deployment requirements, and timelines may change. Pages that distinguish working, partial, and roadmap capabilities are intended to reduce ambiguity, but they are not warranties or delivery commitments.
No safety-critical reliance
Do not rely on website demonstrations, early software, or product descriptions for emergency response, medical monitoring, fire or carbon-monoxide protection, life safety, physical security, access control, or other safety-critical functions unless a separate written agreement and appropriate certified systems explicitly support that use.
Early-access inquiries
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance into a pilot, response time, product availability, support, pricing, territory, or commercial relationship. Local Home Intelligence may prioritize participants based on product fit, testing needs, geography, technical environment, and available capacity.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website or forms; attempt unauthorized access; submit malware, secrets, or unlawful material; interfere with availability; impersonate another person; harvest data; or use automated systems to overwhelm the service.
Intellectual property
Website content, product names, visual designs, diagrams, copy, and original software are owned by Local Home Intelligence or their respective licensors unless stated otherwise. HELIX™ is used as a product mark of Local Home Intelligence. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used only for identification or compatibility discussion.
Clean-room and third-party references
References to Home Assistant, device vendors, protocols, cloud services, and other platforms do not imply endorsement, affiliation, certification, or sponsorship. HELIX integration work is intended to follow vendor documentation, applicable licenses, and clean-room development boundaries.
External services
The website may link to third-party services or rely on hosting, DNS, email, or infrastructure providers. Local Home Intelligence is not responsible for third-party availability, content, security, or terms.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, or compatibility.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local Home Intelligence will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or reliance on the website.
Changes
These terms may change as the website, pilot process, and product evolve. Continued use after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms.
